At tapplemusic, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement explains how we handle your personal information when you use our website or services, particularly when signing in via Apple Music.

Information We Collect

• Authentication Data: When you sign in with Apple Music, we receive and temporarily process authentication tokens to verify your identity and grant access to your Apple Music library and playback controls.
• Session Information: We collect basic session data such as session identifiers and timestamps to maintain secure sessions and enable cross-device music playback.

We do not store or retain any personal data from your Apple Music account beyond these authentication tokens and session details. All music library data (playlists, songs, albums, artists) is accessed in real-time from Apple Music and not persisted on our systems.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your login and facilitate access to your Apple Music library
• To enable music playback and library management features
• For security purposes, such as detecting and preventing unauthorized access
• To maintain your active session across devices

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or to comply with legal processes. Authentication occurs directly with Apple, and we adhere to Apple's privacy policies for any data exchanged during sign-in.

Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect authentication tokens and session data. Authentication tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and stored securely in Azure Key Vault. Session data is retained only for the duration of your active session (up to 180 days) and is automatically deleted upon expiration or decryption failure.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your session data at any time by signing out of the application. Your Apple Music data remains under your control through your Apple ID account. For questions about your Apple Music data, please refer to Apple's privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

tapplemusic uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Music API: For authentication and music library access (subject to Apple's privacy policy)
• Microsoft Azure: For secure cloud hosting and data storage (subject to Microsoft's privacy policy)

Changes to This Statement

We may update this Privacy Statement periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. The last update date will be displayed at the top of this statement.
